Aug. 20 Oilcloth Lunch bag or Tote bag

Sept. 26 Purse Pockets
Change your purse easily by having a storage system for all your necessities. Pockets, zippered compartments and two sizes to choose from. This is a great gift geared toward a sewer with experience
Oct. 10 Serger Satchel
Interested in using a serger? This is a great purse that even a beginner can do up right. Use our machines if you don’t have a serger. Also a great gift idea.
Oct. 15 A-line skirt
Have you seen all the cute skirts available? Like to have one that really fits? We’ll draft a pattern for you and you’ll have the opportunity to embellish with needlepunch. Some experience suggested.
Oct. 17 Chalk Placemat
A great gift or project for kids. Let them doodle while they wait for supper. A wonderful beginner project.
Oct. 20 Serger Message Board
Busy schedules need to be posted! Choose your size and have a place to leave a message. Try out a serger or bring yours in for this fun project.
Oct. 24 Patchwork Tote
Does quilting look interesting, but you don’t have a lot of time? Make this great tote to use as a shopping bag and see if piecing is for you.
Call or e-mail to pre-register. For each class pick-up your supplies at least one week prior to the scheduled date and there is no class fee! If you don't pre-register a $10 class fee will be added to the cost of supplies.
The Annual Pajama Party will be held Oct. 10 from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. at the American Reformed Church in Worthington, Minn.
Spend the day making over 100 pairs of pajamas will be donated to the Nobles county Community Christmas baskets. We need a minimum of 65 volunteers, please sign up by Oct. 5, or the project may be canceled. To register call or e-mail Textile Treasures.
Sewing skills are not necessary for you to help. You can also donate money to be used to buy fabric at great discount from suppliers, donate knit fabrics from your stash, let us borrow your serger for the day or bring a pan of barsto share for afternoon coffee. Monetary and fabric donations can be dropped off at
the store.

Reserve your spot for our 2010 retreat which will be held Jan. 8-9, 2010 at the Shalom Hill Farm. We'll have plenty of advice and creative fellowship as well as time to finish your UFOs.
CLUBS
Embroidery Club / Click here to see project information
These classes are designed to help familiarize you
with your machine, new threads, stabilizers and designs that are
available.
Classes meet Wednesday afternoons at 1 p.m. If
there are four people to meet at night we will have
an evening session that starts at 5:30 p.m. The cost for each
of these classes is $21.95, which covers the designs, a CD to
take home, and supplies.
Please let us know one week in advance if you plan
on attending.
Pfaff Club / Click here to see project information
These classes are designed to help familiarize you with your machine. Afternoon classes meet on Wednesday afternoons at 1 p.m. and Thursday evening classes meet at 6 p.m.
A yearly membership is $69.95. This includes the class fee for 12 months and a 20 percent discount on store merchandise the day of class. A $10 discount is given on memberships for those with a paid Serger Club membership. A joint membership in both clubs can be purchased for an extra $15 fee. This entitles the member to 6 classes in one club and 5 in the other club. There is a kit fee for each monthly project averaging under $10. Club classes can be attended on a pick and choose basis for an $18 class fee for each session attended.
Memberships are renewed at the January meeting.

These classes are designed to help familiarize you with your machine. Classes are held on Tuesday mornings at 10 a.m.

Kid's Sewing Club
This club is for beginning sewers. The yearly fee
is $69.95 which includes the use of store machines as well as
a book to take home at the end of the year. Each session there
is a project cost and you get one item to help fill a sewing kit.
This is geared for kids ages 7 and up.
Kid's Kamp
Focusing on expanding your child's creative expressive
outlets. Morning and afternoon snacks included. Geared for ages
7 and older. |
